"Nggak ah, orkestra orkestra gitu bosenin" "Musik klasik bikin ngantuk" "Ngapain nonton gituan, mending tidur deh di kamar"  Sering banget sih denger jawaban kayak gitu tiap ngajak orang nonton orkestra atau musik klasik. Jadi di postingan kali ini aku pengen ngereview konser orkestra yang baru aja aku nonton yaitu "Symphony of The Four Seasons" oleh ITB Student Orchestra (ISO) , mana tau kalian yang tadinya ga suka nonton orkestra bisa merasakan dikitlah gimana kerennya orkestra itu. Jujur ini juga pertama kalinya aku nonton orkestra (well, sebelumnya cuma suka dengerin aja), so I was so excited! Jadi, ITB Student Orchestra (ISO) memang selalu mengadakan konser setiap tahunnya dengan tema yang berbeda-beda. Tahun ini mereka membawakan tema empat musim : spring, summer, autumn, dan winter yang diberi judul "The Symphony of The Four Season". Sebelum main concertnya tanggal 14 April 2018, mereka juga mengadakan pre-event gitu, kala...

A Letter to The Person Who Has Influenced Me The Most

Bandung, February 3 rd , 2018           Dear Big Bro,           Somehow I don’t want to write this letter for you because few days ago you chatted me and were too confident that I would write this fourth letter about ‘the person who has influenced you the most’ for you. Well, you were right and now I’m really writing this for you. I just don’t want to admit it, you’ve influenced me both direct and indirectly.           To be the youngest, I used to look up to you and big sis. Since we grew up in the same place, it looked like I followed your footsteps everywhere. We went to the same primary school, junior high, senior high and college, I’ve even taken the same major as yours. At first, I was very annoyed every time the teachers spoke about you. I didn’t like to be compared to you, I felt like I lived in your shadow. I started to find different...

A Letter to Myself as Child

Bandung, February 1 st 2018           Dear the little me,           Trying to write this letter somehow reminds me of Angela Aki’s song titled ‘Tegami’ which I used to listen and sing with Rizki and all my Japanese team back in the senior high. It’s the soundtrack of a movie ‘Have a Song on Your Lips’. Okay, forget it. It’s hard to write this letter actually, because it’s like I’m talking to my past, but here I will try to.           Walked through this life for 19 years, I remembered you said that you wanted to finish your study quickly, faster than anyone you’d ever met. You wanted to skip the kindergarten and proceed to primary school instantly that time. When you were going to graduate from primary school, you told everyone that you were going to have acceleration class in junior high and senior high so that you could cut 2 years of y...
